In this episode I interview Dr. Andrew Compton about the relationship between policy and economics. This is episode one of a three part series. In this episode Andrew and I discuss what the economy is, and how it shapes policy. We talk about how both policy and economics are designed to assess value, evaluate incentives, and create change. We use examples from abortion reform to bumper-to-bumper traffic. Never studied policy or the economy? That’s perfectly fine – this episode is for you.

A special thank you is extended to Dr. Andrew Compton for joining us on the show.

If you want to learn more about #abortionpolicy which we discuss in this show, this oldie-but-goodie is an excellent place to start. My writing style has changed a lot since it was published, but you get the gist. Click here.

War as policy? Yup, you read that right. Let’s talk war, in laymens terms. For more information, be sure to check out the blog.
The war in laymens terms. Keep coming back for all things policy.
Should the Ukrainians come out victorious, they will have set an example. Should they face defeat, they will have taught us invaluable lessons about life and humanity.
25 countries down and he is still the most beautiful thing I have seen. Here’s to love that feels as good as it looks, and our next 25.
There’s days I think I’m cool, and then there are days I reach into my handbag in a five star, six course restaurant in Venice, Italy thinking I’m pulling out a fresh mask and instead pull out a pantie-liner and unwrap it confidently because I’m not paying attention.
New glasses.
